New, Revised and Updated Declaration Filed

Property in Burnt Mountain Estates is now covered by new rules and regulations.  Before you buy or sell or build or paint or add outside signs and yard art,

please refer to the new documents.  New and revised Rules and Regulations will be published as soon as possible.  This will provide all members with

an "abridged" version of the "do's and don'ts" in the DECLARATION and By-laws.

Design Guidelines for Burnt Mountain Estates

 of the Amended and Restated Declaration of Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions for Burnt Mountain Estates.

Please keep your pets in your home or in a fenced area on your property!

Rabid animals including domestic cats have been reported in north Georgia.  Dawson County is picking up stray and free running animals without collars.

 


Home Garbage Pick-up Service Now Available at Burnt Mountain

Burnt Mountain Cove Road Paved October 31, 2002

Through a joint financial effort of the members of BME Association and many of the members of the Private Community, including the Reece family, this important road has been paved in accordance with the wishes and directions of the members of our association. 

If you have not made a voluntary financial contribution to this important project and would consider a cash or pledge (to be paid in the future) please contact the sectreas@burntmt.com .


Important Information:  If you intend to finance property in BME using VA or FHA, you need to be aware of certain HUD requirements.  More to follow, but if you have questions, please contact SECTREAS@burntmt.com.

This DOES NOT APPLY to CONVENTIONAL financing.

Rains and Wind from Tropical Storm IVAN damage Uplands Road and Spring Run Road September 16, 2004.

Other damage primarily to trees and electric lines.  Most power restored by evening of September 18, 2004. All roads in BME other than Uplands and Spring Run are open.  Please stay off Uplands and Spring Run Roads until further notice.  Officers and Directors working to have damage repaired  as soon as possible.
